Windosr Chavis Nocho Community Complex Tops Out

About

Big day on the Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex her in the Greensboro region last week. The crew set the final structural steel beam, marking the completion of the building’s structural frame on this 65,000-square-foot facility. We fired up the grill, brought the team together, and celebrated the right way. Shout out to Maurice McNeal and Christopher Chambers for slinging some amazing bbq for everyone!

What We’re Building
This one matters. WCNCC is designed to serve the neighborhoods surrounding the existing Windsor Recreation Center, Vance Chavis Library, and Nocho Park, bringing community resources and public services all under one roof.

When it’s done, the building will have an indoor aquatics center with a lazy river, water slide, and lap pool, plus a gymnasium, walking track, fitness spaces, teaching kitchen, maker spaces, and dedicated areas for kids, teens, and seniors. Doors are set to open in 2027.

Shoutout to the Project Team
This topping out doesn’t happen without a lot of people grinding day in and day out. Give it up for the crew that made it happen:
Cesar Minarro, Christopher Chambers, Maurice McNeal, Robert Swink, Andersen Ward, Dale Bullard, Nate Swaim

Great work all around. On to the next one. 🤙
