Wilmington Team Hosts Final Career Day for Middle Schoolers

Our Wilmington region just wrapped up the fourth and final Career Day of the school year with the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. Jason Lovelace , Toni Johnson, Philip Blalock, and Andrew Rankin welcomed Williston Middle School students to the Riverlights Fire Station for a deep dive into the construction industry.
The students got to learn what it’s like to develop a project, make those key decisions that impact the outcome, and discover what factors can help or throw a wrench into its success.
Samet is just one of 84 industry partners working with over 1,700 students in this awesome initiative.
Big thanks to our Wilmington team for investing in the community and helping expose young kids to this industry. It was really cool to see it all happening up close!
