Topping Out at Glynn County Fire Station

About

Last Friday, we celebrated a major milestone on our Glynn County Fire Station 5 project at Brunswick Airport (BQK).

This 8,500 SF Airport Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) facility is being built to serve both the airport and the surrounding community, featuring four apparatus bays designed to house modern fire trucks and emergency response vehicles. When complete, this replacement station will enhance response times and operational efficiency for the brave men and women of Glynn County Fire Rescue.

The topping out ceremony brought together the Samet team, Glynn County Fire Rescue personnel, and project partners to sign the final beam before it was raised into place — a tradition that marks the placement of the last structural member and honors everyone who has worked to bring the project to this point.

A huge thank you to RS&H, ECS Group of Companies, Roberts Civil Engineering, Glynn County Airport Commission, the Glynn County Fire Rescue team, and everyone who joined us to mark this exciting milestone.
