NCHEA Conference Recap
About
Five days at the Wilmington Convention Center, and every minute paid off. As Clarence Satchell put it, “Wilmington delivered.” The 2026 NCHEA Conference was a strong showing for Samet Healthcare. Our team connected with healthcare facility leaders and reconnected with longtime partners throughout the week.
Kim Becking served as the opening keynote speaker for the conference, and she set the tone at the opening ceremony with a simple challenge:
You get 1,440 minutes a day, so how are you going to show up? Stop, shift, reframe. Identify your three musts and build momentum through micro moves.
That framing carried through every conversation for the rest of the week.
Showing Up With Intentionality
Our three signature events, “Hooked on Healing” (a fishing excursion), the “Build & Restore” women’s retreat, and the Open House at WXYZ, put our brand in front of 150+ attendees. Both the retreat and the open house drew strong interest and maxed out attendance.
Beyond these flagship events, the team carried that same energy across the full conference: engaging attendees at other sessions, staffing Booth 31 across all three days, roaming to keep Samet visible throughout.
Thank You
None of this happens without the Samet team who made it real, the crew who planned and hosted Hooked on Healing, Build & Restore, and the Open House at WXYZ; everyone who staffed Booth 31 across three days; and the roamers who kept Samet visible at every turn. Thank you.
