On Oct. 15, more than 100 NC A&T students and 18 companies filled the Colonnade at Revolution Mills to talk careers in construction, and six students left with scholarships.

The panel: Samet Senior Superintendent Brian Sampson and an HR professional shared how to choose the right internship and what’s expected in the office and on site. Hearing from both the people who hire and the people who lead in the field gave students a full picture of what it takes to succeed early on.
