Breaking Ground at Firehouse 44

Last Thursday, we broke ground on Firehouse 44 alongside the City of Charlotte.
This 14,000 SF, three-bay firehouse will serve the growing River District community and will be the first mass timber firehouse in the Southeast. As design-builder, we’re proud to partner with the City and ADW Architects on a project that puts sustainability and public safety side by side.
Thank you to Charlotte Fire Department, the Office of Sustainability & Resilience, and everyone who joined us to celebrate. We can’t wait to build this one.
