OF CARE
BUILDING WHAT MATTERS
We lead with a sense of belonging at every level of our organization, because we know that representation fosters a culture where everyone is more creative, innovative, and thrives.
Our Associates are integral to our success and stewards of our brand. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute to our collective growth and sustainability. Â
SUPPLIER INCLUSION
We partner with minority and women-owned businesses on select projects to assist them with best practices, technology, and the processes needed to grow their operations.Â
We are continually developing our inclusion programs to help grow more businesses and develop relationships with those in our communities. We actively engage in initiatives such as Construction Inclusion Week and Women in Construction Week to acknowledge and promote diverse experiences within the industry Our Workforce Development Programs, including internships and school outreach initiatives, aim to inspire and cultivate the next generation of professionals. By engaging with diverse talent at career fairs and beyond, we ensure that our team reflects the communities we serve.
OUR 6-TIER PLAN / Promoting Diversity + Inclusion on JobsitesÂ
We embrace the principles of diversity and inclusivity as essential drivers of success. Our comprehensive plan for Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation in this project reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering equitable opportunities within our community.
INCLUDE / Goal 1
Capture interest by publicly reaching out to capable minority and woman owned firms in the community to inform them about opportunities to participate in this project.
EMPOWERÂ / Goal 2
Offer our experience and knowledge by providing training, networking opportunities, and assistance with the completion of our subcontractor/ supplier prequalification process.
FACILITATE / Goal 3
Structure specific bid packages with reduced financial and bonding requirements in order to maximize SWMBE participation.
ASSIST / Goal 4
Track and assist targeted SWMBE firms from the time of identification through the bidding process in order to ensure a successful bid response for this project.
SUPPORT / Goal 5
Offer follow up project management assistance to SWMBE firms who are successfully awarded subcontracts to participate in this project.
MAXIMIZE / Goal 6
Take all reasonable measures to ensure that SWMBE participation in this project exceeds our stated goal.
My dream would be for companies to do what Samet is doing — reaching out, mentoring and giving the minority contractors an opportunity.
