INCLUSION

SUCCESS IS BETTER TOGETHER

It’s not just about the percentages. Our Mentor-ProtĂ©gĂ© Program, launched in 2014, focuses on helping businesses flourish by addressing industry challenges and achieving true inclusion on the job site.

We partner with minority- and women-owned businesses, providing best practices, technology, and processes to foster growth. These partnerships span higher education, civic, and healthcare projects, continually expanding to support more businesses and strengthening our community’s economic fabric.

OUR PLAN

We embrace the principles of diversity and inclusivity as essential drivers of success. Our comprehensive plan for Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation in this project reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering equitable opportunities within our community.

INCLUDE / Goal 1

Capture interest by publicly reaching out to capable minority and woman owned firms in the community to inform them about opportunities to participate in this project.

EMPOWER / Goal 2

Offer our experience and knowledge by providing training, networking opportunities, and assistance with the completion of our subcontractor/ supplier prequalification process.

FACILITATE / Goal 3

Structure specific bid packages with reduced financial and bonding requirements in order to maximize SWMBE participation.

ASSIST / Goal 4

Track and assist targeted SWMBE firms from the time of identification through the bidding process in order to ensure a successful bid response for this project.

SUPPORT / Goal 5

Offer follow up project management assistance to SWMBE firms who are successfully awarded subcontracts to participate in this project.

MAXMIZE / Goal 6

Take all reasonable measures to ensure that SWMBE participation in this project exceeds our stated goal.
