Statesville Regional Airport is set to develop a new terminal building which will follow a phased approach to accommodate the growing needs of the region and its aviation clientele.

In Phase 1, the existing terminal building will be demolished, with temporary facilities put in place to ensure the airport remains operational. Phase 2 will involve the construction of a modern terminal that includes office spaces on the first and second floors, with the third floor offering shell space for future use. The project will also involve significant site work, including a new parking layout, a roundabout at the covered drop-off area, and the relocation of the airfield electrical vault. Throughout the project, Samet will coordinate closely with the Airport and FAA to manage crane and construction operations on the apron. This phased development will bring a modern and larger terminal to Statesville Regional Airport, enhancing its capacity and services.
