We recently had the opportunity to represent Samet as a panelist at NC Drone Con, the first conference of its kind in the Southeast. The event brought together leaders and innovators to explore the rapidly expanding world of drone technology.
Jeff Kass joined Matthew Wilson from Bobbitt and Tyler Crowes from Hoopaugh Grading on a panel titled “Built to Last: Drone Applications in Construction and Infrastructure Inspection.” Our discussion focused on how drones are transforming infrastructure projects—from tracking construction progress to inspecting bridges and other hard-to-reach assets.
We shared practical insights on how UAS technology enhances site documentation, improves worker safety, monitors structural integrity, and streamlines inspection workflows. For us at Samet, drones deliver better data, reduce costs, and help keep projects on schedule—all critical advantages in today’s construction landscape.
It was a great experience connecting with other industry professionals and seeing how North Carolina is shaping the future of unmanned aviation. We’re proud that Samet is part of that innovation!
