Last week, Samet associates in Charlotte collaborated with She Built This City and Grubb Properties to participate in Habitat for Humanity Charlotte’s Women Build event.

 The Samet team assisted in completing the second-floor framing of an affordable home in the Meadows at Plato Price development.

 Women Build originated in Charlotte in the early 1990s when dedicated Habitat staff and female volunteers constructed a Habitat home for Janet Stewart, a single mom seeking a safe and decent place to raise her daughters. Today, this event is a significant initiative for Habitat chapters worldwide.
