CM@RiskSamet partnered with Statesville Regional Airport to develop a new terminal building, which followed a phased approach to accommodate the growing needs of the region and its aviation clientele.
In Phase One, crews demolished the existing terminal building, with temporary facilities put in place to ensure the airport remained operational. Phase Two involved the construction of a modern terminal that included office spaces on the first and second floors, with the third floor offering shell space for future use. The project also involved significant site work, including a new parking layout, a roundabout at the covered drop-off area and the relocation of the airfield electrical vault. Throughout the project, Samet coordinated closely with the Airport and FAA to manage crane and construction operations on the apron. This phased development brought a modern and larger terminal to Statesville Regional Airport, enhancing its capacity and services.
