11,700 SFDELIVERY
Design-Bid-BuildThe McLeod Cheraw Emergency Department addition incorporates 11,700 SF of new facilities, attached to the existing McLeod Cheraw main building. The addition features two trauma rooms, two triage rooms, 13 emergency exam rooms, clean/soiled rooms, and two isolation exam rooms. Its structure embraces a robust steel frame, adorned with a brick veneer, a TPO roof, and inviting storefront entrances. The interior construction stands out with metal stud framing, custom millwork, aesthetically pleasing acoustical ceilings, and efficient trackless sliding door entrances leading to patient rooms.
The addition also includes medical gas systems, a headwall, and supporting MEP systems, catering to all modern medical necessities. Upon completion of the addition, renovation of the current emergency department areas (approximately 4,000 SF) took place, creating updated behavioral health holding areas and new mechanical and maintenance space.
