After over 50 years of civic service, Fire Station 56 noticed they were outgrowing their facility. The main challenge in demolishing this fire station was determining where to temporarily relocate the fire safety team so they could continue operations seamlessly during construction.

Samet proposed a temporary house for more comfort and efficiency. This approach proved fiscally responsible, saved dollars for the city, and now serves as fire investigation housing. The new 11,442 SF fire station is an entirely updated space for this team with proper garage bay heights, brand-new amenities, and living quarters to support the heroes that keep our communities safe.
