Encompass Health Rehab Center completed a transformative 13-phase renovation of its 84,000 SF facility in South Carolina, significantly enhancing patient care. The most notable upgrade involved converting an indoor swimming pool, once used for aquatic therapy, into a state-of-the-art four-patient dialysis suite. The renovation also improved accessibility with updated ADA-compliant ramps, minor landscaping enhancements, upgraded, fully private patient rooms, and a redesigned therapy gym to better support rehabilitation and facilitate patients’ return home.

Additional improvements included the creation of a new corridor for better access to the dialysis area, a modernized pharmacy with advanced flooring and modular shelving, and a refreshed reception area featuring a custom quartz countertop and a striking 12-foot tile wall. The renovation team also upgraded the main nurse station with new casework, countertops, and Austco call system, ensuring a seamless transition during the phased installation.
