Management

  • This project is a 123,000 SF bakery and distribution center for Lotus Bakeries, a Belgium-based cookie company. Lotus manufactures their product starting with raw materials, moving through production, and ending with packing and shipping. Most of the dry raw materials are delivered to and stored in four 90′ tall industrial silos. The facility has two ovens and the baking process is housed within a narrow 400’ long bakery building with conveyors, processing machines, and produces approximately 4,000 cookies per minute. Given Lotus’ long-term plan, the facility was designed to allow for multiple expansions and some future standalone buildings on their campus.

 

  • Custom Forklift mats were installed to help maintain a clean manufacturing environment for the facility. These mats are strategically placed to ensure forklifts are not bringing in dirt from the shipping area into the clean areas.

 

 

  • The facility also has a refrigerated room with specialty refrigeration equipment and clean surface metal wall and roof panels.
