A big shout-out to our Savannah team for making a difference in our community!
On Thursday, October 9th, eight team members from our Savannah Office volunteered their time and skills at the West Broad Street YMCA Community Garden.
Andrew Schaeppi, Mayowa Ibi Oluwatoba, Richard Shelton, Jeremy Mayen, Kyle King, Marquetta Watson, Justin Miller, and Derrick Hughes with the Community Garden Manager to revitalize this vital space, which serves the surrounding neighborhood.
The team tackled:
— Removing a damaged metal canopy
— Assembling and placing a new wheelbarrow
— Installing 7 raised garden beds
—General garden debris removal
This garden provides fresh produce and green space to the West Broad Street community, and our team’s efforts will help it continue serving residents for years to come.
