Samet EH&S Team Represents at the 2025 NCDOL Carolina Start Conference
About
Samet’s EH&S Team attended the 2025 NC DOL Carolina Star conference here in Greensboro. This was Samet’s 23rd Carolina Star Conference attendance!
Although attending the conference is a requirement of our Building Star partnership, Samet also served as a Platinum sponsor and key partner, which brings exposure and emphasizes our commitment to the program.
The conference brought together NC general industry companies, many of whom are Samet’s clients, alongside construction industry leaders. During the conference, our safety team participated in panel discussions, games, and mentorship opportunities that showcased Samet’s safety leadership and culture. Having our EH&S leaders (seven in total) from multiple regions attend the event provided a unique opportunity for relationship building and key strategic planning engagement.
Notably, the South Carolina Department of Labor attended with the intention of replicating the program’s success in their state, and Samet is looking forward to the opportunity.
Overall, the conference was a huge success and enabled Samet and our team to show our best-in-class safety culture and commitment to making a difference in safety.
