Design-BuildGateway Research Park, a collaboration between North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, continues to expand its cutting-edge facilities.
The latest addition to the Gateway South Campus is Research Facility 3, designed to support a manufacturing and warehouse environment for internal clients. This state-of-the-art building includes a 7,000 SF clean room with a Class 100 area, a Computer Automated Visual Environment, and advanced nanoscience and thermochemical labs. These developments underscore Gateway Research Park’s commitment to fostering innovation and providing world-class research infrastructure.
Working with Samet Corporation on one of the more complex projects in the Triad was an excellent decision by our selection committee. The project incorporated a Class 100 Clean Room, a Computer Automated Visualization Environment, multiple wet-labs, several major gases requiring process piping specific to each gas property, various research spaces, and the project achieved LEED Gold. Samet was local which allowed for smoother communication flow which was critical to our budget, schedule, and the high-profile nature of the project. I would definitely recommend Samet Corporation for any job of this complexity.
