Built in collaboration with the Rotary Club and the City of Greensboro, this carousel is a well-loved gem in the Battleground Parks District. Positioned on a hill overlooking a lake, the carousel accommodates seventy-two riders at once, inviting them to choose from fifty-six distinct and meticulously handcrafted wooden animals. The perimeter showcases an impressive octagonal structure with custom-made partial window walls and drop-down garage-style doors with windows, ensuring year-round operation. The facility also includes a nearby building equipped with restrooms to cater to the riders’ needs.
