The PTI Airport is undergoing a significant transformation under the leadership of Samet. This ambitious project aims to enhance the airport’s infrastructure by replacing the existing North and South concourses with a new, single concourse parallel to the terminal building. The project will result in a new concourse spanning approximately 155,000 SF on the enplaning level. It will feature sixteen gates with hold rooms to support the projected fleet mix, multiple food and retail concession areas, new restroom banks, wellness services, support areas, and building systems spaces.

Moreover, the project encompasses the renovation of approximately 125,000 SF of the deplaning level of the existing terminal building. This renovation will accommodate a centralized baggage claim, rental car counters, TSA offices, PTI offices and storage, PTI Police Department, conference center, restrooms, and other support functions. The deplaning (apron) level will house airline operation areas, central mechanical/electrical/IT rooms, airport operation areas, storage, a common loading dock, a central trash area, a future FIS station, and other support functions. This comprehensive project aims to modernize PTI, enhancing functionality and passenger experience with state-of-the-art facilities and services.
