- Triad Stage has been named “One of the Best Regional Theaters in America” by New York’s Drama League. The theater began as an adapted re-use of an original 1936, five-story building which was vacant for almost 40 years. Samet demolished the interior and restructured it to become the home of a 300-seat theater complete with lobby area, mezzanine, box office and administrative offices.
- Located on one of the busiest streets in Downtown Greensboro, Samet was required to work with the confines of mobile and pedestrian traffic.
- The renovated building now has a structural steel frame, masonry exterior and a single-ply mechanically fastened roof.
