High Point Medical Center, a part of the Wake Forest Baptist Health system, has undergone a significant healthcare facility upfit. This enhancement aims to provide advanced healthcare services and improve patient experience in High Point, North Carolina.

The upfit includes the addition of two operating rooms, two procedure rooms, eight recovery rooms, and nine pre-op rooms. These additions are designed to streamline the patient care process, allowing for more efficient and effective treatments.

A full-medical gas system with pump and vacuum has been installed, ensuring a reliable supply of medical gases essential for various medical procedures and patient care. A separate rooftop chiller system has been incorporated, providing an independent cooling solution for the facility. Furthermore, critical branch isolation panels have been added in both operating rooms, enhancing safety measures, and ensuring uninterrupted power supply during surgical procedures.
