SUMMARY:CCCC Moore Center - Phase I Outreach
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an outreach and information session for CCCC Moore Center – Phase I \nProject Details / Samet/Sanford\, a Joint Venture\, has been selected as the CMAR for Phase 1 renovations at Central Carolina Community College’s E. Eugene Moore Center. This project will transform approximately 25\,500 sq. ft. of a former manufacturing facility into modern spaces for curriculum and continuing education. Construction is expected from June 2026 through December 2027\, starting with selective interior demolition. Designed by Hobbs Architects (interior) and ADW Architects (exterior)\, the renovated center will include advanced labs and learning environments focused on manufacturing and biotechnology. Previously the home to Magneti Marelli Powertrain USA Inc.\, the building will be repurposed to support workforce development and economic growth in Sanford\, NC. \nThe outreach event will be held at 2101 Nash Street Sanford NC. Please enter through the “A” Entrance in which you will also see a sign “Lee County Government – Gymnastics Facility” sign at the entrance.
