Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Florence, South Carolina, is undergoing a comprehensive renovation to its 1980s-era building. This multi-phased project encompasses an extensive transformation, including the infill of an existing pool to create a new Dialysis suite, private patient rooms, a new therapy area, and updated dining and serving areas.  

The renovation will modernize the patient rooms, converting existing semi-private rooms into fully private spaces, necessitating new headwalls and associated MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) services.  

Additionally, the project involves selective demolition, the installation of new doors and hardware, updated finishes, casework, nurse stations, elevator cab upgrades, and extensive MEP service enhancements. The total renovated area is 84,360 SF, promising a significant upgrade to the hospital’s facilities.
