The South Carolina Ports Authority has once again entrusted Samet to build a vital piece of economic infrastructure after awarding the firm a new, major intermodal project.
The Navy Base Intermodal Facility (NBIF) project entails building a 6,000 SF office building, a 1,000 SF drivers assistance building, and four canopies. The NBIF will be built at the site of the former Charleston Naval Complex and serve as a hub for containerized freight for both domestic and international shipping.
The projected is slated to begin this summer.
