Samet Corporation GSO hosted North Carolinas Labor Commissioner Josh Dobson Friday for the announcement of our 5th Re-Certification as a Building Star Contractor. Samet recently underwent a recertification evaluation by the North Carolina Department of Labor’s Occupational Health and Safety Division to continue participating in the Carolina Building Star program.
Samet was also recognized for 3 million employee hours with no cases of injury or illness involving days away from work (CDAW).
According to Vice President of EH&S, Manny Souza, the awards are a testament to the culture at Samet.
“These awards are a direct result of Samet’s associates hard work and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment with all of our operations and our culture of Safeguarding Families,” Souza said.
